The iconic home of Australian Motor Racing is actually a public road for most of the year outside of a few select dates when the Mount Panorama/Wahluu circuit is closed for races. It is a local favourite of walkers, joggers and cyclist who want to challenge themselves and has even been included in the Bathurst Cycling Classic B2B race. If you are up for a challenge the Mt Panoram/Wahluu Loop is best attempted in the early morning when there are fewer cars on the road.  The Mt Panorama/Wahluu Scenic Boardwalk and Lookout at the top of the mountain can make for a great resting area with beautiful views over the city as well.
