School Holiday Workshop: Tonal Drawing Masterclass for Teens!

Discover the expressive possibilities of tonal drawing in this school holiday masterclass with Dobell Drawing Prize #23 finalist Luke Thurgate.
From still life set ups, learn to draw through observational drawing exercises. Students will learn about tone in drawing and how to use light and shadow effects in their work. In a fun and relaxed atmosphere, Luke will guide students to test the emotive and poetic qualities of simple subject matter and develop an individual approach to drawing, mark-making and composition.
