School Holiday Activities

Bathurst & District Artisans Incorporated have launched their July holiday activities. These activities are available for all school-aged children in years 5 and above. “We believe we need to encourage our young to participate in art and craft activities to gender creativity in the young” reported President, Carol Dobson. “Creativity is not about doing something better than others, it is about thinking, exploring, discovering, and imagining.”
A range of activities will be available for children on Thursday, 13 July and Friday 14 July. These activities include art, printing, hand sewing, and felting. There will be 2 sessions running, a morning session 10 am – 12 noon, and afternoon 1 – 3 pm. The cost per session is $15 per head which covers tuition, materials and morning or afternoon tea. Lunch will not be provided for those attending for the full day. Parents are more than welcome to attend and participate in the activities.
