Monthly Muster – Machattie Park – A Place of Memories – Autumn Colours Heritage Festival Event
April 10, 2025 @ 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm

A visit to Machattie Park invariably leaves lasting memories: perhaps of the magnificent begonia display in autumn, music from the bandstand, the tranquil shade, beautiful gardens, a shared event, or the childhood joys of feeding the ducks or crunching through fallen autumn leaves. Memories of people, places, and events are woven into the very fabric of the Park. In this talk, Jan Page will reflect on these memories, sharing stories of controversies, tragedies, oversights, music, and notable doctors, as well as the connections that shaped the park’s history. A light supper will be served after the presentation.
