We invite you to the official launch of the Mind Alive Dementia Friendly Collection at the Bathurst Library.
The event will include;
A presentation by Anthony Parker from Dementia Australia, Dementia Friendly Communities, “It Starts With You”.
Representatives and information from The Neighbourhood Centre, CALM and Bathurst Dementia Alliance.
Free morning tea & music by John Armstrong.
The Mind Alive Collection is a collection designed to allow people with dementia to enjoy reading, encourage engagement and reminiscing with family, carers and support agencies.
The collection is being launched by Bathurst Library as available for loan, during Dementia Action Week.
