Guided Tour of Bald Hill Tourist Mine

Experience the underground world of a goldminer at Bald Hill tourist mine. A short walk or drive from Hill End, this guided tour is ideal for families and school groups.

Walk 80 metres into the tunnel and see Quartz Reefs. At 80 metres a vertical shaft may be climbed via 10 ladders and 10 platforms to exit the mine. The shaft climb is not compulsory.

Bald Hill tourist mine is:

• Open most weekends, and weekday tours can be arranged.
• Open 7 days during school holidays: Monday to Saturday 1.30pm & Sunday 11am
• Closed on Christmas Day.
• Open for school groups, so bookings are recommended to avoid disappointment.
• Cost: Adult $15.00; Child $9.00; Family $45.00
