Daffodils at Rydal takes place on the 2nd and 3rd weekend of September.
10/11 September and 17/18 September 2022
Gardens Opened 10am to 4pm
Rydal is named after Rydal England once the home of William Wordsworth the Poet Laureate of the day. He wrote the famous poem about Daffodils.
Rydal NSW is the home of thousands of daffodils. $10 entry tickets and programs available from the Rydal Showground. Children under 16 free. This gives admission to all the gardens, music, heritage buildings, sculpture exhibition and art show. The program will have a list of addresses of gardens and times and places of music.
Cash only. No signal for eftpos. There is ample free parking at the Rydal showground. A free hop-on, hop-off bus will take you around all the village gardens.
FOOD available all day including tea, coffee, cakes and slices. There are no shops in Rydal. There are many picnic spots in the village especially in Pioneers Park.
TRANSPORT Drive to Rydal, get the train to Rydal, book with NSW Train link or take the caravan to Rydal which must be prebooked with Colin 0474 957 864 or colin_hunter@bigpond.net.au
The festival celebrates the arrival of spring. Thousands of daffodils have been planted in the parks and gardens of Rydal.
