Crime & Punishment – Autumn Colours Heritage Festival Event

The Bathurst Courthouse is one of the most photographed buildings in Bathurst but what is the history of the courthouses and gaols since white settlement? Meet at the Bathurst District Historical Museum to hear some of the stories of those that designed the buildings and how justice was meted out. Following the Crime and Punishment presentation, you will step outside into the Courthouse forecourt to hear more about the architectural features and recent renovations to the building. Return to the Museum for a light afternoon tea and a look through the Museum.
