Birds of Boundary Road Reserve – A Guided Bird Walk

Join local bird expert Tiffany Mason for a guided bird watching walk through the woodlands at the foothills of Mt Panorama – Wahluu. Starting from Hinton Road we will be wandering through the grassy woodlands to observe the native birds that inhabit the local area. Mistletoe Birds, Wood Swallows, Golden Whistlers and more have been seen on previous walks. Stay for a cuppa and morning tea after the walk.
This a popular event so please register your attendance as soon as possible – numbers are limited to 30.
Directions:
Enter from either Boundary Road (off the Mid-western HWY) and turn onto Hinton Road. Look for Council banners for the parking area.
- Outdoors
- Please wear comfortable walking shoes suitable for uneven ground and wet grass. Wear long pants and clothing suitable for the weather forecast.
- Bring: binoculars, a hat and a drink
- Please – no bright clothing or hi-vis as it may scare the birds away!
- Please do not attend if you have covid or flu symptoms.
