Bathurst Railway Precinct & Neighbouring Milltown – Autumn Colours Heritage Festival Event

From the time the railway arrived in Bathurst in April 1876, the nearby streets became home to railway workers and a thriving hub with the railway depot and goods yards, flour mills and pubs catering to the needs of workers and people arriving by train. There were all types of businesses including shops and barbers to cater for the people who lived and worked in the area known as Milltown.
