Author and poet, Steven Herrick spends an enviable proportion of his life touring exotic countries with his wife Cathie and their two hardy bicycles, christened Jenny and Craig.
Steven’s cycling books are part bicycle adventure, part culinary safari. They are essentially handbooks for those who enjoy slow food, grassroots travel and long-distance cycling.
Steven’s talk will cover everything you need to know about cycle touring in Europe and Asia – the best countries for cycling, the most scenic routes, how to pack, where to eat and sleep and more.
