This charming little village 20-minutes south of Bathurst is a favourite location for see autumn colours with the rows of poplar trees along the Vale Road to Perthville turning a bright hue of yellow through the Autumn Months. a nice stop on your way to the southern reaches of the Bathurst Region.  The village is well known as the home to St Joseph’s Convent which was first established in 1872. In it’s time the convent served as the home of many of the sisters of Saint Joseph.

Take a short scenic drive through the countryside will have you pulling up at Vale Creek Wines, offering a range of Italian style wines.
